My name is Elizabeth Bristow, but people call me Lisa for short. I completed my Bachelor of Arts at the University of Windsor, majoring in Criminology and Communication Studies. I earned a Master’s degree in Sociology, specializing in Criminology at the University of Windsor. I completed my second year of my Master’s degree while in my first year of a joint law degree program at the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy.
I knew I wanted to practice criminal law from a young age, dedicating pretty much my entire life to becoming a criminal lawyer. This culminated in me becoming a partner in the largest criminal defence firm in Canada in 2012, Rusonik, O'Connor, Robbins, Ross & Angelini LLP. Since, then I have practiced exclusively in criminal defence and am a partner at Rusonik, O'Connor, Ross, Hershberg, Ghebrai & MacDonald LLP.
I am a member in good standing of the Criminal Lawyers' Association, the Toronto Lawyers Association and the Law Society of Ontario.
I practice throughout Ontario, but primarily in the Greater Toronto Area and Southern Ontario. I have vigorously and successfully defended all types of criminal cases. Working hard isn't hard for me. I love what I do. I love defending people. It's my passion.
